Guitarist Brian Willoughby began his professional career with MARY HOPKIN and has worked as a session musician for a range of artistes from MONTY PYTHON to SWEET's BRIAN CONNOLLY.

Since 1978 he has played lead guitar with the STRAWBS and is featured on their recordings, "HALCYON DAYS", "GREATEST HITS LIVE", RINGING DOWN THE YEARS", "DON'T SAY GOODBYE", "THE BEST OF BRITISH FOLK ROCK", "THE KING" (featuring MADDY PRIOR) and the Polygram / A&M "BOXED SET".

The acoustic duo DAVE COUSINS & BRIAN WILLOUGHBY have recorded two albums, "OLD SCHOOL SONGS"and "THE BRIDGE". They provide the opening track on the SANDY DENNY tribute record "GEORGIA ON OUR MIND".

Brian was also lead guitarist in STRAWBS - associated bands HIGH SOCIETY and THE MONKS, whose "SUSPENDED ANIMATION" won a gold award in Canada.

With fellow guests SHARON SHANNON , DOLORES KEANE, IAIN MATTHEWS and CLIVE GREGSON, Brian played acoustic guitar on the NANCI GRIFFITH album "OTHER VOICES TOO" and on her 1998 British Tour. (Video available on Elektra). In January 2000 Nanci and Brian recorded again and appeared together on British Television.

"BLACK & WHITE" is a record of Brian's songs. co-written with Nashville's CATHRYN CRAIG, MICHAEL SNOW and BILL LLOYD. The CD features CATHRYN CRAIG on vocals, with a guest appearance by MARY HOPKIN.

As a Nashville session singer, Cathryn Craig has worked with and recorded for artists as diverse as Bobby Bare, Emmylou Harris, Shel Silverstein, Bob Gibson, Jorma Kaukonen and Tom Paxton. Her early stage appearance was with Bill Medley where she sang Bobby Hatfield's Righteous Brothers' duo parts. She can be heard singing "Spring Always Comes" on the soundtrack on the soundtrack of Peter Bogdanovitch's movie "A thing called love" RiverPheonixs last film). She has appeared on Television with her friend the legendary Chet Atkins. She has been hired for sessions and performances as far away as Los Angeles, Chicago, London, Zurich, Amsterdam, Paris and Moscow. She has written songs with celebrated writers such as Tommy Boyce, Dean Dillon, Richard Dobson, Sandy Knox, and Shel Silverstein.

Cathryn was signed to Goldrush Records in Perth Scotland and began her own recording career. Her highly acclaimed debut album "PORCH SONGS" was actually recorded live on her back porch, and is considered a classic in acoustic / roots circles. Her second album, "CATHRYN CRAIG", also recorded live, has gone a long way in developing her reputation as one of the finest acoustic performers and songwriters touring today.

The critical acclaim for her two albums, together with the dynamism of her live concerts, sharing the stage with the likes of John Prione, Guy Clark, Ray Davies and the late Townes Van Zandt, have continued to build her profile.

Cathryn sings on the recent "VIVA AMERICANA" collection featuring exclusive tracks from the cream of new alternative artists including The Derailers, Bob Neuwirth, Gretchen Peters, Kate Campbell and Chip Taylor.

She has been co-writing with STRAWBS guitarist Brian Willoughby and is featured as the vocalist on Brian's debut solo album "BLACK & WHITE, along with Mary Hopkin.

Cathryn and Brian currently perform as a duo
